HYDROGEN- POWERED MOTORCYCLE
My entry for the
contest is a motorcycle running on hydrogen, a zero emission energy
source.
Design: Motorcycle’s
shape is classic but bold. The frame is covered with panels but exposed in the
rear end. Fuel is stored in small tank and energy comes from ultra-light
cells inside the bike. On the right side is positioned green colored hydrogen refueling nozzle port. Electric motor is at the back. It is a replica with
rubber belt and spinning rotor.
Technic features: Bike
has several, some of which I would like to see in the future:
- Rear suspension,
soft and responsive;
- Direct steering
with small turning angle. Easy maneuvering with foldable handles;
- Air brakes
through two body panels. They open and increase the air resistance. They also re-direct
the airflow for extra oxygen needed for the fuel cells;
- Kickstand comes out by rotating a side red bush element.
Model is physical, made with LEGO Technic parts I
own.
Thank you for your
time.
Best regards,
Gregory Bak.
