Classic Space Logo

The iconic Classic LEGO Space logo is a timeless symbol of LEGO Space. Its motif of a spaceship circling a planet seemed perfect for this contest. A 3-D LEGO sphere was constructed, and then Flaxi Tube was attached to it to represent the trail of the ship. The ship is Classic Space yellow and blue. The model is on a base which also features display areas for two Classic Space minifigures (green and grey) and a mini spaceship, modeled on the iconic LL-9 series from 1979. 

This was my first use of the Lowell sphere technique, and I am pleased with the results,.
