Steel Bird

Explore the deserts of the Third Moon of the Sixth Planet on your very own Steel Bird!

I find the Lego Minifigure Series a great source of inspiration, but I also realize chances of getting building sets designed around them are slim. So I took this opportunity to go for an Retro Space Scooter!

I set a few rules for myself, the scooter should:

1. look like something you could find in an old space comic
2. have that classic Space Lego feel despite the use of new parts
3. be a smooth, yet solid build

It would be cool if a Retro Space Female could be included as the driver.

The scooter consists of  22 parts.
