Multipurpose Exploration Vehicle (MEV)

During the golden age when humanity extends their reaches to the stars and interplanetary travel becomes a common occurance, the Multipurpose Exploration Vehicle or MEV will allow for ease of travel between planets. The MEV is equipped with 3 jet turbines (1 on each wing and 1 on the main body) for use during atmospheric flight. The wing turbines also double as wheels during take off, landing and for travelling across the planets surface. Equiped with a next generation ion engine, the MEV will also be capable of long distance space travel and the wings can be folded close to the main body when not being used. Despite existing interplanetary peace treaties, the MEV also comes equipped with 2 main armaments in case of space pirates.
