Hallelujah Mountains

The Hallelujah Mountains are one of the most iconic sites within Pandora. I created one large floating mountain and one small floating mountain which are suspended by clear Lego bars. I tried to give the impression that they were floating over a third mountain by creating a platform where part of the third mountain juts out. The rest of the surrounding space is a gorgeous sky blue color with clouds in white tiles.

The mountains are said to be covered in dense foliage with vines that hang down the sides. Pandora’s foliage is both colorful and bioluminescent and I tried to capture that with my choice of Lego pieces. The vines that hang down are actually glow in the dark pieces which emit a nice glow to mimic the bioluminescence. The orange pieces were inspired by the helicoradian, and the bright yellow-green pieces were inspired by the fiddlehead.
