Minifigure: Caravanserai
Caravanserai were resting places on trade routes in Asia, North Africa and some parts of Europe (such as Andalusia, in Spain), those located on the Silk Road being especially important. The word caravanserai comes from Persian and means Palace of the Caravans. In this diorama there is a small market next to the main door of the Caravanserai. Two explorers, a woman and a man, are visiting the caravanserai, the woman is taking pictures of a snake charmer, there are many shops open, they sell perfumes, lamps, clothes and food. Children play in the fountain, where many colorful birds arrive.
