Nature: BIG Impact Bird
This model is an ode to the Hyacinth Macaw and its role in the rainforest. Otherwise known as the "Blue Macaw," the Hyacinth Macaw helps to plant the trees that make up the Amazon rainforest, the bird's home. When the bird eats seeds it drops some of them on the ground, planting more trees, as depicted in the base of the model. Although this may seem like a small act, by planting more trees the macaw is ensuring that other animals such as frogs, bugs, and other birds have a place to call home, and the rainforest is able to continue to take carbon dioxide from our atmosphere; that's a big impact, which is why I made the Hyacinth macaw BIG.
