Architecture: Palais Garnier Opera House

This is my model of Palais Garnier based in Paris.

Back when I was studying architecture and writing my final thesis, I was passionate by Paris Opera House (Palais Garnier), how its architecture inspired many more in the world regarding its eclectic style and its coherence. Besides its magnificence, it represents worldwide culture standing - making me think how culture is so important for our society and our “living-together” through art.

I was willing to build as much details as possible, by respecting the proportions of its different main areas: public area (Grand staircase and Grand foyer), Auditorium, stage Flytower, lateral Pavilions... This, while having to do it with reduced scale, which was really challenging!

This Palais Garnier is made of 2993 Lego parts.
