Minifigure:Voyageur Waterfall

Voyageurs were the delivery men of 18th century Canada. Travelling by canoe, they explored, traded, and transported goods throughout the vast Canadian frontier.

Mostly french speaking, voyageurs played a major role in early Canadian history. I wanted to capture their brave explorer spirit, but also wanted this MOC to be fun. So I imagined them drastically misreading the flow of the river and captured the moment they paddled over a waterfall.

I had a lot of fun building the waterfall, and including all of the details. If it were to become a set, I really think any teen or adult Lego fan would enjoy it as well. I feel that I really expanded the landscape in the vertical direction. I also included many plants and animals, to bring the feeling of wilderness to life
