Nature: Prehistoric Praying Mantis
"This is a scientific marvel!" said Doctor Insectoid." We have restored a prehistoric praying mantis with hydraulics and tubing! Our prehistoric find meets that 21st century in our cyborg praying mantis!". This build could be entirely to scale. It features a posable head with helmets as eyes. Also the claws can articulate, extend and retract. The lower part of the body uses the tubing for a steady steam of cooling air so the engine (tail) doesn't overheat. All 4 legs are posable with hydraulic tubing acting like a spring for when it jumps. The branch is a technic-reinforced structure that is solid like a real timber.
Footprint (with overhang): 29 x 21 bricks
