Nature: Baby Duplo Dino
We all love the giant red Duplo dinosaur within the Masterpiece Gallery of the LEGO House, but it wasn't always that large. Just like many dinos, that red behemoth started out as just an egg. In my MOC, I've reenacted what I think it would have looked like on the day it hatched.
This is a kinetic sculpture, with two posable positions for the dino to be in. Pressing down on the dinosaur's tail will cause its head to pop out of the egg, revealing a toothy smile. Release the tail to lower the dino back into its egg, safe and sound. The dinosaur can keep its head out of the egg by anchoring the tail to a rock (see pic). This allows for easy displaying in whichever pose you prefer.
The top of the shell is removable, allowing for the dino to be completely hidden inside the egg (well, almost completely, see final pic). Hope you like it!
