Architecture: The Library
Celebrating reading and books by giving libraries a unique architectural identity of their own!
This is a community library with a twist, it’s shaped like a book!
Exterior:
The building has four floors. It has windows* in the bind and in the pages. Around the building runs a driveway, lined with rose trees. The driveway can also be used to park vehicles. In the front of the building is a garden with benches for outdoor seating.A short red fence lines the whole plot with contrasting white gates.
Interior:
Three of the four floors are for novels and other books while the fourth is dedicated to kids books. The library has short shelves for the kids section and ceiling-height shelves for the other sections. I have added sofas, indoor benches and an information desk.
The build consists of 1921 individual parts and is built on two 32 x 32 base plates.
*All windows and doors have trans-clear glass in them.
~I’m a beginner to digital designing, so my renders won't be top notch~
