Architecture: Clock/Bell Tower
The Domtoren (Dom Tower) lies at the heart of one of the Netherlands' most beautiful cities. It is the Netherlands' 23rd tallest building, standing just over 112 meters tall, and is considered the best-hidden gem of the Netherlands.
The tower has three main parts; construction began in 1321 and at a pace of 1.8 meters per year, the tower was slowly constructed over a period of 61 years. This 2874 piece moc is truly a testament to the level of detail that was put into this 14th-century relic.
It is built upon a 16 x 16 baseplate, though some parts hang up to .5 of a stud over the edge. The Dom Tower would architecturally be one of the oldest mocs in the Lego House and would be a great addition.
