The Jazz Spirit

Come one come all to the Jazz Quartet's debuting concert!

What I wanted to do in this poster is not only capture the spirit of jazz music itself, but also the spirit of each individual instrument that makes it what it is, with different pieces coming from the it reflecting its musical properties. The sweeping keys of the piano; the rhythmic staccato of the bass; the banging and clashing percussion of the drums; and, of course, the grand booming melody of the trumpet. All sound great individually, but put together, it's a song of the grandest scale.

I had a great time building this, especially figuring out how to build in every direction needed, even having to build upside down at one point. It was a fun process, and I hope you enjoy the end product. Good luck to everyone!
