Celebration: Lego Through the Years
Lego has been a remarkable company since the beginning. My model is a reflection of that, with each letter of the Lego logo representing a different time period along lego's journey. The "L" signifies some of the first Lego sets, buildings and towns, and also includes a reference to the first Lego product: a wooden duck. The "E" signifies somewhat early Lego set designs around 1999, when Lego first started building futuristic models well. The "G" signifies Lego sets just a few years prior to now, when Lego has really improved builds and detailing, and it represents an interstellar model of a satellite emerging from a spaceship docking bay. Finally, the "O" signifies the future of Lego; what will the next ten years be like for the company? To represent the unknown, I built a Pharaoh's Tomb, which is full of surprises and adventure, just like Lego!
