Celebrate: From Play to Display
My model showcases my adventure through building with Lego bricks. The change from simply playing with them, to creating art to display and amaze! My first standard Lego set was actually a 48x48 Gray Baseplate! It wasn't all that much use to me, until it opened the door to cities, magic, and stories. I began sorting my pieces, which allowed me to polish my creations and make them a little more pleasant to look at. Soon, the multicolor builds were broken down, and in came more elegant, models. I used to build creations just to play with them, I valued functions and interiors above all else. Now, my style has evolved to focus more on details and part usage. One of my favorite examples of part usage is the piece I used for the Wizard's cauldron in this build, can you figure out what it is? The rocket ship and castle were also very nice to make. I tried to pack as many references and cool techniques as I could into this creation, highlighting my milestones and travels. Thank you, Lego!
