Here's a robot made with LEGO Mindstorm who plays music by capturing colors on tiles.

To make music, we have to put color tiles on a plate. Each color is a different note.

Then, we have to put this plate on the robot.

The color sensor captures the colors of the tiles and the brick makes one sound per color.

The note that is played is written on the screen.

To this project, we chose the two songs "Everything is awesome" from The LEGO Movie and "Jingle Bells" an actual song.

The first picture with plate and the first program are "Everything is awesome" and the second plate and program are "Jingle Bells".

For the songs with specific notes we need a special program but there is a main program in wich:

red is "C" ;blue is "D"; green is "E"; yellow is "F"; red is "G"; brown is "A"; black is "B" and white is the silence.
