Build: Omni-Bot

This is the Omni-Bot! This simply amazing machine has three wheels that allow the robot to travel in multiple directions according to the direction of the motors (as shown in photo 3).

For example:

-To achieve the overall direction of large arrow red, then motor blue will turn anti-clockwise and motor green will turn clockwise at the same speeds. (this applies to all three large arrow directions and also in reverse to move in the opposite direction*)

-To achieve rotation all the motors will turn the same direction at equal speeds

*e.g. the large red arrow can go upwards and down, depending on the rotation of the other two motors.

In simple:

It can go any direction possible along a flat surface dependent on the speeds and directions of motors.

I think this would make a great sixth build for the set 51515: LEGO® MINDSTORMS® Robot Inventor, as it teaches people how motors and wheels can make awesome results!
