Build:5PORTPLANE

Hi everyone, very proud to present my latest entry, and I think this is the best one yet! It's named 5PORTPLANE, and it's based on a single engine light aircraft commonly seen around the world.

Model uses four motors. One is used to rotate the propeller, and the others are used to move the control surfaces. The ultrasonic sensor is used to detect the distance between the ground and the model, and the color sensor is just used as decoration.

When the model is lifted more than 5cm off the ground, the propeller spins. The yaw, pitch and roll angle of the Mindstorms hub determines the angle of the ailerons, elevators and rudder. Note that I have programmed it in autopilot mode, which means the control surfaces will move to correct the orientation of the model (pitching the model down will make the elevators move down, for example).
