Concept: GyroBot7: The Self Balancing Robot!

GyroBot7 is a self balancing robot that uses the built-in gyroscope to stay upright while Balancing on two wheels! With a somewhat simple code this robot can turn left, turn right, move forward, and move backward all while amazingly balancing! The code tells the motors to forever move, pitch times negative one (to make it readjust instead of just push it down farther) Then it multiplies that by .003 to find out how many rotations it will take to straighten out the robot. It does this many times a second to keep the robot upright and it will be doing this while the robot is moving forward/backward. The code for movement uses a bunch of separate event blocks to assure the motors move at the same time. To turn, the motors move in different directions. The distance sensor on top is cute, but it also helps the balance, for, when you build it you need to keep that in mind. 

I don’t have the new Mindstorms set yet, but im hoping after this contest is over, I might be able to try this design!
