Concept - Typo
Maybe it's a little more complicated than using the keyboard yourself, but you've got to admit that building a robot to type for you is much more fun. TYPO accomplishes this with two propulsion motors, which slide it along the opposing driveshaft, and let it access anywhere in its framed space, which could easily reach across a keyboard. A third motor controls the up/down motion of a mechanical "finger" to press the keys. A distance sensor is used to relay how far to move the finger, so as to avoid putting unnecessary strain on the system. The 5x5 pixel grid is used to display the letter being typed. A secondary finger could be used for the shift key, to capitalize letters. This is also a flexible concept, which could work for other keyboards (such as a piano) as well.
