The Freemakers' Holiday Workshop

Battle Droids turning old tanks and fighters into toys, delivered by re-painted and re-programmed Imperial Probe Droids.

After the Battle of Jakku, the Freemakers' salvage and repair business became very successful. They decided that once every standard year, they would use their skills to make and deliver toys to children. Surprisingly, it was R0-GR's idea. He wanted to improve the reputation of droids throughout the galaxy (not the least his own). Repairing an old Droid Control Ship using parts from a Star Destroyer, the Freemakers set up a droid-operated production line. Rowan leads the design (with input from Zander), Kordi sources all the old vehicles they need, and R0-GR bakes cookies and "entertains" the other droids. The Probe Droids are programmed to seek out children from all over the galaxy, from young stable hands on Canto Bight to those in the Outer Rim who are furthest from the bright center. An amazing amount can be delivered by these droids in a single night!
