Dumb and Dumber Mutt Cutts Van and Scooter

We loved playing with LEGO in the 80's and 90's, using simple bricks to build a multicolored world. As LEGO evolved, so did our creations. Now, as adults, we've enjoyed building nostalgic sets like Home Alone, Hocus Pocus, and Jaws. Growing up, we also loved the movie Dumb and Dumber, so when we saw the "Build Your Nostalgia - 90's Throwback" challenge, we decided that we wanted to make Harry's Mutt Cutts van. We learned about the challenge with only 10 days remaining, so a crash course in BrickLink was needed to design it. We started our model based on the LEGO Land Rover Defender 90. We modified it by stretching the length, adding hinged legs, floppy ears, a face on the front, and interior details like a Big Gulp cup, bottles, and ketchup spills. With this set, you'll be "driving an '84 Sheepdog" in no time!

We felt this set wouldn't be complete without Lloyd's scooter, so that was added. We "can get 70 miles to the gallon on this hog."
