It's Time for Animaniacs!

So began the first episode of Animaniacs, all the way back in 1993. A show that featured a range of characters, but was centered around the madcap antics of The Warner siblings, Yakko, Wakko and sister Dot, three 1930s cartoon stars, locked away in the WB Tower until the 1990s, when they escaped and begain their reign of chaos.

One of the best things about the 90s was a new approach to TV animation especially in the USA. A new energy seemed to grow out of the commercial success of The Simpsons, leading to a ground breaking shows like Animaniacs. A blend of slapstick, nostalgia and in-jokes made Animaniacs stand out as a show with uniquely wide appeal. I've modelled all three siblings, with pose-ability on the arms, hands, heads and tails. I think they'd make a great display piece, and hopefully I've captured their energy with my project!
