One Piece Icons

One Piece is one of the greatest manga and anime series ever made, becoming the best selling manga series of all time with 500 million copies in print. It debuted back in 1997, with its anime adaptation following in 1999 and continues to this very day. For someone who has followed this series for two decades, it is little wonder why I would love to see it turned into Lego form. I know there are countless more around the world who would too.

For this challenge, I wanted to showcase some of the most iconic objects from the early days of the series at full scale. They include Monkey D. Luffy's straw hat, the namesake of his pirate crew. His first ever Wanted poster, making him a marked man on the run from the World Government. His Gomu Gomu no Mi Devil Fruit inside a treasure chest, eating it giving him the power to stretch his body at will. Lastly, I wanted to showcase the original five Straw Hat pirates, Luffy alongside swordsmen Zoro, navigator Nami, sniper Usopp, and cook Sanji.
