Stargate

For me Stargate is THE sci-fi show. I grew up watching the Stargate SG-1 over and over again. It's almost accurate scientifical solutions, it's nice fight scense and the sarcastic humour of O'Neill just bindid me to the screen. I like to think that Stargate has a great infuence on the sci-fi community.

That's why I started a few months ago to make this design. It's designed to hold it's own weight but a considerable base is needed to keep it stabil. The inside connections are made with technic components.

Due to the geometric and connection challenges it only consists 36 segments so only 36 symbols can be shown isntead of the original 39 symbols, but I think it worth it. I made the symbols as individual decals.

It is as big as it's seems the diameter of the gate is 75cm and the inner diameter is 55cm made with about 4371 pieces.

I believe it would look awesome in any collection as a center piece as it is a admirable creation. It's would serve a nice challenge to any builders.
