Monorail, Monorail, MONORAIL! The Simpsons.
The Simpsons was the biggest pop culture phenomenon of the 1990s. Pop singles, merchandise, video games. etc. Season 1 Episode 2 "Bart the Genius" hit our screens on 14 January 1990 and the decade took us right through until the last episode of Season 10 which aired on May 16 1999.
One of the best episodes from the 1990s heyday was Marge vs. the Monorail, Season 4 Episode 12. Written by a team headed up by Conan O'Brien, It had everything from Flintstones parodies, a very memorable song and dance number, one liners galore, a guest appearance from Leonard Nimoy, and one of the Late Phil Hartman's greatest Simpsons characters, the swindler Lyle Lanley.
Monorail
What's it called?
Monorail!
Once again
Monorail!
This build pays tribute to 1990s Simpsons, and the Springfield Monorail in particular. The main Station breaks into 3 layers to allow access to the inside. It's kept fairly minimal to mimic the animation style and to keep the part number within the 1000 - 5000 range.
