Galileo's Laboratory
This is the laboratory of italian scientist Galileo Galilei, the father of the scientific revolution that started in Europe in the 17th century.
He was a physicist and astronomer, the telescope and the military compass were invented by him.
His contribution to observational astronomy include the telescopic confirmation of the phases of Venus, the observation of the four largest satellites of Jupiter, the observation of Saturn's rings and the analysis of the sunspots.
