Cetus: The Sky Whale

The Story:
I decided to base my entry on "The Cetus," which is a constellation that lies in the first quadrant of the Southern hemisphere. The Cetus was a sea monster in Greek mythology as both Hercules and Perseus needed to slay. Sometimes in English it is called "The Whale" The Cetus is in the region of the sky that contains other water-related constellations. It's symbolisms are normally a whale, shark or sea monster. I decided to build the whale, as it is the most peaceful of the three.

The Model:
The whale could be a great addition to your collection, as it is a nice size to fit into your hand and is removeable from its stand. It also has moveable fins and tail so you can pose it differently. The stand is coloured metal silver, and is decorated with four gold starfish and five chrome silver stars. The build uses exactly 200 parts in total, the whale using 124, and the stand using 76. It was built and rendered on Mecabricks
