Water Bear

Water Bears, also know as tardigrades or moss piglets, are one of the most indestructible living creatures out there. These micro-animals can survive in any environment and even in outer space. These little guys can come in all different colors including orange, red, green, white.

When the Beresheet Lunar spacecraft crashed in April 2019, thousands of Water Bears were on board. They are now floating around the galaxy. They can survive for decades by curling up into a seemingly lifeless ball waiting to colonise a new planet.

For this contest I have built a Water Bear Automaton when you turn the wheel watch the Water Bear travel through space by paddling it's paws and a posable head. This build has 155 pieces in total. I think this would be a great Lego gift set and spread the word of Water Bears.
