Rocket Engine Test Facility
Oftentimes we forget how much goes behind the scenes into making a rocket successfully fly.
Testing a rocket engine in a facility is vital to the mission because it is a cost-effective way for scientists to make sure their calculations are correct and that there are no design flaws that could jeopardize the mission.
The build consists of the rocket engine, a fuel tank, and an observatory deck with a computer and a launch button. There are two scientists.
I hope this can inspire people of all ages to become more interested in science and space.
The total model is made up of approximately 195 pieces.
