Classic Space Orrery


Imagine a teleporter taking you back to the days of Classic Space... After a lot of building, testing, and documenting, I proudly present this fully functional orrery, derived from the iconic Classic Space theme.

The base holds the mechanism for this fictional solar system. It's mostly built with black pieces to blend in with the darkness of space. The transparent windows allow you to get a peek of the clockwork that enables frictionless entertainment.

The solar system features a yellow planet, orbited by a grey moon, a red spaceship exploring the universe, and a blue star that all objects revolve around. Of course, you can build your own spacious objects for this orrery.

The Classic Space Orrery consists of a total of 199 pieces, whereof 68 unique elements. It would make a great gift for most LEGO fans, a spicy sequel to the cool Rocket Ride set, and a love letter to Classic Space.

No bricks were left unturned because only the best is awesome enough.
