The Next Leap for Mankind

Landing on Mars will be the next giant leap for mankind. And it will probably happen in a not so distant future!

Very close to the limit, at exactly 248 bricks, this contest entry consists of some interesting builds.
First we have the baseplate (115 pcs) which represents the surface of Mars. It's built using bricks lying on their side.
There also is a brave astronaut (15 pcs) ready to plant a flag in the martian soil for the first time!
The astronaut has some company in form of a robot (24 pcs) who is planting some plants and is determined to transform the martian wasteland into a friendly environment!
They can travel across Mars using a six-wheeled buggy (51 pcs) equipped with two headlights.
They all travelled to the surface of Mars using a rocket (43 pcs) with a transparent cockpit. The rocket is attached to the baseplate by connecting the fire piece to a 1x2 plate with a handle.
