Dueling Spaceships

Since the invention of the very second vehicle, we've all felt the need to know which is faster. Thus, when Squidly Labs announced its new Black Star 3000 series star racer, stating that it was the fastest in the universe, Stellar Defense, Inc. objected. Their own new model, the Celestial Cruiser 500, had been equipped with four Jet-Turbo engines, and they felt confident it would blow any competition out of the water. The challenge was on, and a competition was set up. It was to take place ten rotations after the solstice and would definitively test the speed of both vehicles. In the intervening days until the competition, each manufacturer made the final preparations and necessary modifications to ensure total dominance over the title "Fastest in the Universe."
