Mechanical Comet Racer Arcade Game

Far into deep space, in the corner of the M Tron galaxy, is an arcade where every space kid dreams to go to. The reason is obviously to play the Comet Racer. The game is simple, yet fun. You hop onto the mini-spaceship and see how fast you can go through the on slaughter of comets!!

The game

As you spin the crank clockwise, the spaceship goes right, and anticlockwise will make it go left. As you spin the crank in either direction, the two comets at the back start popping out one after another. You must dodge these comets by moving the spaceship to the left or right by changing direction of the spin. See how many comets you can dodge within 30 seconds without being hit once!

The build

The build uses 12 gears and five lift-arms for the mechanical system.

I took inspiration from Black-Tron and Ice Planets for the color scheme of the game and spaceship.
