LEGO Antique Orrey

The moment this contest was announced, I knew what I wanted to submit. I've always found orreys like these fascinating, especially the elegant way they merge mechanism with design. Unfortunately, due to the limit of 250 parts (of which I used 249), I couldn't recreate the incredibly complex mechanism, so instead I decided to focus solely on the design. Needless to say, I'm incredibly happy with how that turned out. I hope it has the chance to be enjoyed by many more as a promotional set!
