Pulsar Basilisk

The pulsar Basilisk lies somewhere just beyond the Cuckoo cloud. Named after the legendary serpentine king for its snake-like rays this star was formed when a dying star exploded in a majestic supernova and then collapsed into a spinning neutron star. Basilisk pulsates beautiful beams of electromagnetic radiation out from its poles. These types of stars are among the densest objects in the universe while being not much bigger than your average city.

The Basilisk model is made up of a core sphere, antennae representing beams on the top and bottom, and four spiralling rays coming out of its core representing all the matter which this star with immense gravity pulls towards itself. The rays themselves have beautiful glow-in-the-dark tiles at the bottom and transparent caps on top, which makes for an excellent light effect both, during the day and at night.
