Back to Gryffindor Common Room

This scene depicts Harry Potter's return to the Gryffindor Common Room in his third year at Hogwarts School of Witchcraft and Wizardry. I especially like this scene because Harry Potter does as well. He loves rejoining his wonderful friends that love to celebrate with him. Every year the entire Gryffindor House gathers here after yet another sorting ceremony in which new students get sorted into their house and they all celebrate their newest family members. Harry sadly missed this year's sorting, thanks to the Dementor that climbed into his train compartment, causing him to pass out. Luckily he was able to still greet his friends that he so dearly loves. Harry Potter loves returning to Hogwarts every year to escape the clutches of his relatives, the Dursleys, and the Gryffindor Common Room makes that all the better.
