"Firs' Years This Way"
This build shows the moment Harry and his friends arrive at Hogsmeade Station in their first year before boarding the boats. I have tried to include as many references to both the book and the film including:
- Hermione with Hogwarts: A History
- Hedwig next to Errol, who has fallen over
- Hagrid greeting the first years
- Professor Flitwick using wingardium leviosa on the luggage
- Fred and George setting off some of Dr. Filibusters fabulous wet-start no-heat fireworks
- Scabbers chasing Crabbe and Goyle, having bitten Goyle on the train
- Malfoy trying to smuggle in a broom, with Filch telling him off
- Seamus trying to turn water into rum
- Lee Jordan and his tarantula
- Neville looking for Trevor, holding a red-smoked remembrall
- The escaped chocolate frog
Lots of cool building techniques make up the main structure, and some particularly interesting ones include the construction of the two barred windows on either side and the lamps (built upside down).
