The Beginning at the End

This is my 9 year old son's first entry, for which he has built the scene from the final chapter of book 7: 19 years on.

In this scene Harry and Ginny reunite with Ron and Hermione (and Draco) on the occasion of dropping off their children at the magical platform 9 and 3/4 for the beginning of a new year at Hogwarts.  Albus, Harry's son, is afraid of being sorted into Slytherin and Harry consoles him saying that he would be proud of him even if he were to be sorted into Slytherin. 

I am so proud of my Jacob for all his work putting this set together.  The detail he has put into this scene has made me realise he now knows Harry Potter better than me.  James's mischievousness, Hermione hugging her daughter, the scolds on the Malfoys' faces have all been carefully chosen by Jacob.  It is all his work - I only took the photos.

We have been meaning to start contributing to LEGO ideas for a long time, so this piece marks a beginning for us.  We look forward to contributing a lot more!
