The Missing Mirror - ‘I Knew You’d Come! I Knew It, Harry!’
This Back to Hogwarts is based in the chapter from ‘The Deathly Hallows’, ‘The Missing Mirror’ in which Harry returns to Hogwarts via the Hog’s Head and the secret passageway behind Ariana Dumbledore’s portrait. Like the latest Diagon Alley set, it has the pub front and sides, but with an open back revealing the hidden interior. This includes the bar upstairs and the room below where Neville Longbottom appears through the portrait to take Harry, Hermione and Ron back to Hogwarts and the Room of Requirement. Outside Aberforth Dumbledore confronts a Death Eater patrol. In this MOC I have tried to show the odd structure of the tall, slim Hogsmeade buildings by showing the sloping and bending roofs. I also added detail by using a Bionicle head that looked like a boar, as well as the mini figs inside and outside (patronous).
