Welcome to Platform 9 3/4 at Kings Cross Station
My favorite return to Hogwarts scene is where Harry comes to Kings Cross station and enters Platform 9 3/4 for the first time ever. I really loved how they ran through the wall and enter the secret platform that's magically hidden inside the thin wall.
I bought the Hogwarts Express set from 2018 and kind of was disappointed of how small the platform is but I realized if I take apart some of my older Harry Potter sets, I could make the platform bigger! My new Kings Cross includes the main entrance with 3 towers and giant clock, a ticket stand, the sloped glass double roofs and of course platforms 9 and 10 with the ability to go through the wall to platform 9 3/4.
I incorporated some of the pieces from the original set including the Sirius Black wanted poster, newspaper stand and bridge over the track. The 3 tracks can be connected to a full train layout too and the whole station is built on a single gray baseplate with only 1 stud over on each side.
