Playing Field (Trophyfig-Scale)
For my first entry to this contest, I was initially going to make a minifig-scale Old Trafford, until I Googled the dimensions of the stadium and ran away screaming. Eventually I contented myself with just making a trophyfig-scale soccer field.
So, here is the Manchester United team, playing against an anonymous red team... oh wait, are they supposed to be the red team? Ok - whichever one is the right colour is MU, and the other one can be the opposition. There's a 'ball', too. There are also fences and a track for an additional touch.
The piece count is 6,927 (no, that's not a typo), which admittedly mostly comes from the mosaic-like field, which is unnecessary. 😉
Ok, I'll be honest with you. I know nothing about Manchester United... or soccer, for that matter. But I do like entering these sorts of things, and I also like winning, so here it is! Hope you like it!
