Manchester United "Soccer" Chess

A friend taught me how to play chess using a set he made himself with Lego.  It's a easy game to learn but a lifetime to master.  As a fan of video games I always wanted to add to the basic game, so this is my original idea.  Pieces move like regular Chess but when they have the ball they get a power-up.  Each Club would sell their own sets in their colors

Pawn/w ball - Can move backwards and to the side
Rook/w ball - Can move and pass on same turn
Knight/w ball - Can move twice, but second move can't be to check or pass
Bishop/w ball - Can move like queen
Queen/w ball - Must pass
King/w ball - Goal, game over

Other rules:
- Piece with ball can choose not to move, but to pass to another piece within its movement area(rook exception)
- The game is over when a piece with the ball checkmates, thus passing the ball to the king and ending the game
- Players spin the wheel to determine the side of the field they start on, Yellow card moves first
- Taking a piece holding the ball transfers the ball
