East Stand
For this contest, i made a part of the Old Trafford Stadium.
This part contains a plaque dedicated to the victims of the munich air disaster.
This plaque is on the south end of the East Stand.
The Munich ais disaster occurred on 6 february 1958 when British European Airway Flight 609 crashed on its third attempt to take off from a slush-covored runway at Munich-Riem Airport, West Germany.
On the plane was Manchesters United football team, nicknamed the "Busby Babes", along with supporters and journalists.
