The Six Toa of Mata Nui

Out of all Lego sets I had as a kid, I had the fondest memories with the six original Toa from the Bionicle theme. The premise of robotic heroes using the powers of nature in the form of six elements always struck a chord with me and felt like something never seen before back then.

By combining both Lego System and Technic pieces I tried to retain the articulation and overall action figure-like feeling of the characters while sizing them down to a smaller scale.
