Police Headquarters

Each LEGO era has its own special sets that stand out. For me, one of these sets is the Police Headquarters from 1979. When I got the set as a Christmas present, my joy was enormous and the set was the centre of my attention in our children's room for months. It's one of my all-time favorite sets. On a base of 32x32 studs, there are a lot of details built from 342 bricks and 4 minifigures to play with.

This version is built using 328 bricks on a base of 12x12 and thus scales to 1:2.6. The model reproduces the key elements of the original as closely as possible. The studded design. The offices, the cell and the garage. The windows with green shutters and the yellow doors. The roof with the landing pad on which the speakers, the antenna and the lights are mounted. The vehicles: the car, the motorcycle and the helicopter. The accessories: the tree, the letterbox, the street lamp and the sink. Three police officers and a helicopter mechanic. Even the famous red telephone can be found.
