7419 Dragon Fortress

My favorite theme of all time is the Adventurers theme from 1998 to 2003 starring Lego's greatest character Johnny Thunder. It was the first Lego action theme with an original story line that wasn't based on an intellectual property. It was hard to choose a set from such a great and long running theme, but eventually chose for the best set of the best subtheme, the largest set of the Orient Expedition line: The Dragon Fortress. I did not have it as a kid, but later bought the set when it was still affordable, and it was so great to finally have it! I tried to capture all of the exterior features, such as the catapult, the car, and of course the golden dragon. Since I was at home for only a short weekend I could not find time anymore to also make the interior with the moving statue which would make it truly complete, but here it is anyways. Now that I've made this micro version I long to rebuild the set again!
