Ice Planet 2022 Sat v - 6896

Ice Planet was my first experience creating lore. Why were these explorers on the ice planet? What was there that they wanted? How did their chainsaws work? Were they stuck? How did they get so cool?

The simplicity of the color pattern made them an easily identifiable faction in my vast LEGO universe. The majority of my sets were taken apart and repurposed for a myriad of creations; not Ice Planet. They stayed together as an intrepid constant.

I wanted to recreate the joy and wonder experienced that a kid has while staring at a LEGO box. The art, the setting, the set up. Every box takes you into the middle of a story and gives the opportunity to flesh it out in your mind. I couldn't be happier with the end result and hope you enjoy the 'behind the scenes shots.'
