Micro Blacktron Message-Intercept Base (6987)

This was my second big set as a kid and I remember having all sorts of battles, treaties, and time traveling parties between the knights of the King's Castle and the Blacktron space raiders. What I really liked about it was how it wasn't just the little space ship and rover the moved, but the set itself with the access tower sliding into position and the main base opening up like a giant robot flower. I wanted to see if I could try to capture that at a micro scale while still having it evoke the fun I had playing with it back in the day and hope that I was able to do that it here.
